Lovely, kind, smiley Clive who will be much missed
In memory of my sister Brenda’s much loved husband Clive and his brother David.
I don’t think words could ever sum up what an amazing person Uncle Clive was. He touched every person he met with humour, intelligence and a genuine interest in their life. When Clive and Brenda would visit in between their adventures around the world, I would always look forward to great story’s, plenty of laughter and a top quality fish & chips with a glass of Spitfire. My fondest memory’s of Uncle Clive are: - The collaborative creation of the nickname G.U.N.K. (Great Uncle) which replaced the never forgotten childhood mistake of phonetically spelling Uncle as Uncool. - Being a first time skier on the wrong side of the tracks and being rescued by GUNK (another wonderful trait - patience). - On the subject of patience, numerous hours spent going over Mathematics problems. - Clive and Brenda recreating a local map out of left over fish & chips to identify their dog walking loop. - Many long chats about life, of which a phenomenal example of how to do it was set by Uncle Clive. So here is to a wonderful man! Sending all of my love to the Canadian Crew, thinking of you all xxx
